Development Stages

Software Model Prototyping

This stage encompasses all aspects related to the initial funding and development of a software prototype and the associated algorithms. This begins with a "dummy" software that operates on a computer model simulation of the loading and discharge process and serves as a proof-of-concept for full-scale implementation. The software consists of a base algorithm of flow calculations, and an AI model trained to automate and improve the loading and discharge process.

Test Ship Data Collection and Sensor Installation

A test ship must be identified for further study of the nuances of loading and discharge operations. This ship's loading and discharge-related sensor data will be collected and analyzed. In order from least to most accurate, the pertinent base sensors will be replaced with enhanced smart sensor equivalents. This allows for the observation of human error and provides a means of quantifying the room for improvement.

Test Ship Software Modifications and Software Development

The "dummy" software will first be adjusted in accordance with the data collected in the previous stage. It will then be modified to conform to security standards and so that it may be used aboard the ship. The software will be made to conform with the ship's Cargo Control Console's requirements and installed aboard the ship.

TankerWise Launch

When prototype testing is complete, TankerWise will begin installations on commercial vessels in dry dock and new built vessels in production.
